[b]I suppose this could go in several catagories, but I'll put it in this one.
Just read in the paper today about a kid in Beaverton, ridiing his bicycle. Wearing an Ipod. He ran a red light at a busy intersection (Murray and Farmington) and ran into the side of a bus.
His mother is suing the transit/city for a million dollars!!!!
I feel for the mother, but lets get real here! How could the city or the bus driver be liable?
Also, with the announcement of the accident there's the lawsuit notice. Was the lawsuit the first thing that ran through her head? Or did an ambulance chase get to her in the hospital?
Should lawyers like that be horsewhipped???????
Don't make ANY sense to me!
